Finally in th UK

Oh my..i just realised that i have not been updating my blog since forever. Well, so many events happened during this period of time. The main thing being me travelling to the UK to further my education in the university if Birmingham. Yes, peeps! Im already here. It is so awesome here. The people, the place itself, and the best of all, is the clock tower. That would be my favourite scenery of all. It is simply beautiful.

Well, settling in was pretty tiring. And that i had to do everything without help scared me at first. But, everything is pretty much done now. My room is really nice, spacious too. Definitely bigger and much more comfortable than the one in college..ops..sry.

well, it really is.

We went for a long walk the other night. And it was just amazing. Gazing at the stars on that dark sky.I cannot describe it by words. It's just so beautiful. At that point of time, it felt so right to have someone hold me tight and say everything is going to be ok. Despite all the fantastic things here, I'm missing home so much. My mum, sisters, and oh, mu puppy too.

life has to go on. Its not the end of anything. We'll meet up soon. Love you so much.....

DOOMSDAY!!

Oh kay, it has been quite a productive Saturday, i must say. But, i have been revising Chemistry the whole week. And i have 3 other subjects to cover! whoa!! It gives me the chills even thinking about it.

Anyway, I had the most delicious lunch today. My mum made her special super spicy crab curry. It was really awesome i actually took almost 1 hour eating the crab. No, seriuosly.. I had to break the shell with my teeth and then eat the crab meat. And HELLO!! crab shell are as hard as rock! But, thats the fun part. haha. My mother, my younger sister and I had a wonderful time eating and joking together during lunch. I've gotto treasure every second I can spend with them. For obvious reasons.

Well, after lunch, and after completing the daily chores in the kitchen, my mum asked us to watch a video of which was given by her friend a few days ago. And to our surprise, the content was a lil' too scary to be true. It was about scientists' predictions of DOOMSDAY. The Earth is believed to experience all sorts of disruptions by the year 2012, and in December 2012, Dec 21 to be precise, something really horrible is going to happen. Something really disruptive. This is all based on the great Mayan's calender. These Mexicans are well known for their pyramids and grand buildings..

Who knows what? Is it the end of the world? 'khiamat' ke? Or will there be another major tsunami? the repeat of september 12th? i wonder...

Initially, I refused to believe whatever i saw from that VCD, but, then, they displayed this 'web bot'. I went online researching this thing, and guess what? There are lots of information bout it. Scientists, physicists and so many other people are really digging up information on this. Even the guys from NASA. It is pretty scary when they start talking the END of the WORLD!!! Well, all we can do now is pray and be nice to each other. Lose the greed and selfishness, and love all humankind. Believe in GOD and hopefully everything will be A ok.

im feeling lifeless!!

hmm...im super lifeless right now.Online-ing all the time...where i am supposed to be studying. MY mock is coming up.Got to buck up.But, im just not in the mood to face my chemistry, maths or econs book. What more my history notes. Oh Good Lord!! i need some inspiration.
amyway, tomorrow is the pahang state first aid and nursing competition. Should i go and watch? Well, it would be fun to go and watch the footdrill competition. Reminiscing old times is kind of fun especially when i have nothing to do now.
Back in 2006, my team and i entered this competition representing SMART nursing division. We practiced tremendously hard. as a matter of fact, we even started training the year before that. Footdrill, short cases, long cases, and even theory. It was extremely fun. The process of being perfect i mean. As the leader, i was obliged to make sure we were absolutely perfect. I loved our how our footdrill turned out. It was like professional soldiers.
Well, the first day was theory and only theory. So, we were quite relaxed. But, right after that, we went straight to the ever famous 'padang' near my house to practice footdrill and short case. Believe it or not, we all practiced till after midnight. And, my team members, Aimi, Jolene and Pomala came to my place at 4 am!! crazy?? i know! started working on our hair..with the huge hair nets, ans loads of hair gel..eeewww!!! At about 7, we were on our way to SMK air putih. With our shiny, black, not to mention super heavy boots with metal pieces imbedded at its souls, complementing our neatly pressed white and black uniform, we looked awesome. All ready to kick some st.johner's butt..haha i cant believe i actually said that. I miss those days.
We were quarantined, and well, we waited for out turn. Uniform inspection was great. We did as practiced. And, then came the time for foot drill!! It was ok. despite the fact that we had a few unavoidable glitches. Next was my FAVOURITE part, short case!! we had a suicide case. And, when we started, the whole hall actually stopped and stared at us. haha..I felt like a superstar! My commands were super loud. And our treatments were really neat. Transportation and all. and that was done. Long case was awesome too. Out procedures were all right to the point. i really miss my team!
i think i have went off track a lil' too much. And im going to hit the sack in a while. toodles guys.

of malay dance n dikir barat...

last wednesday, we had a traditional malay dance and dikir barat competition..
well, i honestly think that th results were biased..
biased based on what...i have no idea..
but, you guys deserved it..
hmm...
Topaz won th dance competition, which i thought was great..despite the tiny glitches made by some of the dancers.They performed well, as a matter of fact, it was WAY better than during the reheasal. With costumes and make ups, they looke awesome.

now i regret not entering th dance.
anyhow, i thought the garnet's dikir barat was absolutely awesome.. i came into the hall right in time to watch their performance, so yeah..

It was really fun to watch...and they were really into it. The tukang karut was sort of spontaneous, and his gestures were fun to watch.
Unfortunately, they didnt win.
itseems they exceeded the time limit and lost the title as te winner as well.
You guys deserve better.
Anyhow, i enjoyed watching u guys. And im sure everyone else did (excluding the judges, i thinkg)
and, i know u guys can improve and perhaps win next year, IF TOPAZ doesn't win that is.
